Where did you transfer from?

Pima Community College in Tucson, Arizona

Why did you transfer to the University of Arizona?

I wanted to stay close to my family and transferring to the University of Arizona was the easiest pathway from Pima

What was your greatest challenge when transferring to the University of Arizona?

I felt left behind regarding my work experience. At Pima I wasn't exposed to a variety of opportunities outside of the classroom and was mainly focused on completing the classes I needed to transfer. As a Veterinary Science student, I felt that I was behind compared to my peers who had begun clinical experience in their freshman and sophomore years

What is your favorite UA memory?

Making friends in my classes and working at the Thrive Center. The connections I have built have been my favorite part about being at the university

What advice do you have for students transferring to the University of Arizona?

Whenever you feel stressed, remember the fun!
