Olivia Rooney

Olivia Rooney is a senior at the University of Arizona, majoring in Veterinary Science with a general emphasis. With plans to attend veterinary school in the near future, Olivia is deeply committed to both academic excellence and community involvement.

She currently serves as the Marketing and Outreach Coordinator for the University of Arizona chapter of Tau Sigma National Honor Society, where she focuses on connecting incoming transfer students by promoting social and academic events that foster a sense of community and support.

In addition to her role with Tau Sigma, Olivia is an active member of several other organizations on campus, including the Pre-Veterinary Club, the National Honor Society of Leadership and Success, and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars—each reflecting her dedication to leadership, academic achievement, and her future in veterinary medicine.

Olivia also contributes to student development as a mentor at the University of Arizona's Design Lab, an innovative space dedicated to helping students engage with real-world challenges through creative problem-solving. Her continued involvement—both as a current mentor and past intern—demonstrates her passion for mentorship and experiential learning.
