How does it work?

Transfer Prep Mentoring

Semester #1

The first semester is called Transfer Prep Mentoring (TPM) and students are admitted to this portion of the program during their last semester at their community college or transfer institution. The focus of this semester is to get support from a current transfer Wildcat as you prepare for your transition to the University of Arizona. This is not intended to replace your academic advisor or recruiter, but your peer mentor can help you navigate challenges and answer questions from a student perspective.

Transfer to the University of Arizona!

Transfer Adjustment Mentoring

Semester #2

The second semester is called Transfer Adjustment Mentoring (TAM) and students continue to this portion after completing their TPM semester and transferring to the University of Arizona. The TAM semester is intended to be completed during students' first term at the University of Arizona as they adjust to life as a Wildcat.
